At Transformed - Your Comfort is Our Priority!

When you join a Transformed Group we want you to know that your comfort is our first priority. We understand that God made each one of us with unique temperaments and relational needs. Some women crave fellowship where they are able to talk openly in group settings while others prefer to participate quietly. For this reason, we do not pressure anyone to share or to answer questions unless they make the choice to do so on their own. We also do not use "Ice-Breaker" games as we know they can be very intimidating for some women especially in unfamiliar settings. We want you to be able to enjoy our time together in whatever way is most relaxing for you.

We sincerely hope that our caring environment will become a place of comfort where you will have the opportunity to make new friends while offering and receiving encouragement spiritually, emotionally, and physically!

Spiritual Transformation

Many Christian women have hearts and minds that are filled with doubts and fears about who God is and how He really feels about them. This often occurs because although we have been taught that God is faithful, loving, and kind – the discouragements that we have experienced often lead us to believe that He may be distant, untrustworthy, and unjust instead.

These doubts and fears about God cause deep unresolved questions to develop about Him such as, “If God really exists, then why is there so much pain and suffering in the world?”, “If He really cares, then why didn’t He do something to protect me?” or “If God is supposed to be fair then why is my offender’s life flourishing while I am still suffering the consequences of their actions?”

When your perspective about God has been corrected, your trust and faith grows allowing Him to become your intimate friend, your dependable counselor, your Lord of Lords, and the one you desire to worship. This relationship with the Lord becomes a new foundation bringing the hope, joy, and peace that is able to transform your entire life.

Emotional Transformation

The Word of God tells us in John 14:27; “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  This verse clearly emphasizes the fact that we must learn to take control of our emotions instead of our emotions controlling us.

Emotional transformation begins while learning about the seven inner needs of your inner man; forgiveness, love, acceptance, significance, security, purpose, and worship. When these inner needs are not filled with the love of Jesus Christ feelings of inner shame, loneliness, rejection, being "less-than", insecurity, worthlessness & failure, and superiority or inferiority often overtake our hearts and minds.

When you develop the proper perspective about who God is and who you are because of who He is - your own self-worth, your purpose, and your relationships completely transform as they are built upon a solid foundation of truth.

Physical Transformation

How we think, how we feel, and how we respond to the world around us is directly impacted by the care we give our physical bodies. Dr. Don Colbert addresses the connection between our body, soul, and spirit while giving practical, time tested truths that can be applied for consistent benefits. In Dr. Colbert's New York Times Best Selling book "The Seven Pillars of Health" you will be  challenged by the following questions:

  • How much water should you drink daily?

  • What are seven indications that you are sleep deprived?

  • Why can stress make you fat and ugly?

  • How does the food you put into your mouth produce life or death?

  • What does the Bible say about exercising and what are the immediate benefits?

  • What nine things can you do to detoxify your body?

  • What are the most important nutrients that you need on a daily basis?

We will also be referencing work from medical professionals such as, but not limited to: Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Doris Rapp, Dr. Barbara Reed Stitt, and Kathleen Desmaisons, PhD.
